The North Pole is the opposite of the South Pole. It is located in the Arctic region and is the northern hemisphere point where the axis of the Earth’s rotation meets the surface.

The North Pole is the Earth’s northernmost point. It is divided into two:

  • the geographic North Pole.
  • the magnetic/terrestrial North Pole.
